If you're looking for a quiet place to escape to, this is it! We purchased this for us to vacation at, but there are plenty of weeks left for you. The lodge sits atop Rumney Hill overlooking New Hampshire and Maine mountain ranges with 180* views and spectacular sunrises. The Lodge is located on 7 acres and is surrounded by 100’s of acres of land and trails for hunting, bike riding and quiet walks in the woods.

The Lodge is 6.5 Miles from Rte 25 in the Center Effingham, just west of the Maine Border. To the south is Province Lake Golfing Resort and recreation area; to the north is Lake Ossipee Golfing Resort and recreation area. A little further north is beautiful North Conway with many summer attractions and its famous year round Outlet shopping area. Weirs beach and most of the other New Hampshire attractions are still only an hour or less away.


The 1st bedroom has a Queen bed.  The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds.   The central room has small pool table and a fireplace/woodstove.   The kitchen is complete with stove, coffee maker, microwave and fridge.   There is a sitting area that is part of the master bedroom suite, and includes reclining coaches and chairs, TV, DVD, VCR and Tuner.  The master bedroom has a king size bed and a 2 person hot tub in the adjacent room.

Location
The driving directions from Route 93 (north or south) in New Hampshire would be to take exit 23 Route 104 East towards Meredith. Take left onto Route 3N, and then at the light in downtown Meredith take a right onto Route 25 East. In W. Ossipee take a right onto Route 16S/25E. Route 25E will exit off to the right shortly after the signs for Ossipee Business District. At the bottom of the ramp take a left and continue on 25E until you reach route 153 SOUTH. Turn right onto 153S and travel 4.9 miles and you will come to Center Effingham. There will be a small Baptist church and cemetery on your left and across the street is Town House Rd. Turn right onto Town House Rd (which turns into Champion Rd at the town hall) and travel for one half mile, and turn left onto Moody Rd. This is a dirt road but is well maintained. The lodge is located one mile from the turn. At the top of the hill, you will take a sharp left and you will get your first glimpse of God’s majestic tapestry that will be yours for the rest of the week.
If you are coming from the East, find your way to Rte 16 or 25 and follow from there.
